DIGITAL ART - Blog Mascot & Information

May I introduce: my new Blog mascot - myself ;D

Here you can see the steps (WIP):

Unfortunately, I noticed only later that the thumb of the "peace"-hand was on the wrong side 'D

> Information <

As you can see, I changed the design of my blog, but that's not the only thing, which is different: I also created various categories (see left: "Let's"-Buttons).
From now on I will post in those separate categories, but don't be disappointed!

Of course, I won't stop drawing - in contrast! Actually, every categorie will have its connection with (my) art.

DIGITAL ART - Living in another world

Actually, this piece of art was supposed to be an entry for
a Pokemon competition, but I missed the deadline .. unfortunately... ~.

Well, in the end, I could not leave it unfinished, so what you see here is the second and final version.

The actual task was to draw/paint oneself in the Pokemon world. (Yep, I am depicted there 'D)

As the title of the picture already implies, I also wanted to transport one feeling of mine - the feeling that happens when I create different/new worlds in my head since real life is so damn bleak and brings commonly more sorrow than anything good instead.
Yeah, those "mind games" and of course my art help me to bear life with all its burdens - it's an escape without leaving home :).

I hope you guys understand what I mean 'D.

Anyway, this picture was pretty difficult to paint (many characters, many textures, etc.) and all in all it took me about 4 days.

If you cannot identify every Pokemon, here is a short list: Lugia, Steelix, Mew, Charizard, Mudkip.

This is a video project, which I had to make for art lessons at school.

The task was to create a video about "7 days of my life". I then focused on 7 activities or events, which were and are the most important in my life.

Here is a small collection of pictures drawn for the video:
